COVID-19 Updates - Keilhauer

To our Valued Customers and Partners,

Our purpose at Keilhauer is to Make Work Comfortable for All. That means we're doing all we can to support our employees, customers and partners.

In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Keilhauer voluntarily completed a three-week manufacturing shutdown. This closure was a pro-active measure and all staff remain in good health at this time. During this period, all employees were instructed to self-isolate. Select staff who came into our offices followed all social distancing protocols championed by our health and government officials. We took these three weeks to adjust our production facility and minimize risk for our re-opening. Leveraging multiple external sources to monitor the outbreak and stay up to date on safety protocols, we have ensured we are taking every precaution.

We return to production on April 14, 2020, with new health and safety measures in place. To protect our employees we are operating with reduced staffing and new protocols, which include:
  • Adjusted shift and staff schedules to reduce the number of employees in our facility at one time
  • Increased sanitization and cleaning of the facility, including all equipment
  • Distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and made sanitizer available at all times
  • Implemented new space planning of production areas to maintain social distancing measures
  • Cancelled all scheduled gatherings to reduce the number of employees in a single area
  • Barred visitors from all facilities
  • Ensured all products entering or leaving our facility are fully sanitized
  • Added access to telehealth services to our employees' health insurance
To encourage social distancing, Keilhauer staff are working from home where possible. We continue to work with our partners and customers, to provide support and deliver on our commitments. We are ready and eager to respond to any inquiries.

Keilhauer teams are working with our supply chains and shipping experts to monitor and navigate the rapidly changing situation so that we can deliver on our customer commitments. Keilhauer is aware that, due to the nature of this pandemic, new and urgent projects are taking place. We are taking steps so that Keilhauer is able to expedite for emergencies and exploring opportunities to best utilize our capabilities and support the healthcare community. In addition to being an approved Government Disaster Relief Supplier, we are exploring PPE production options.
